About time I posted something new, eh? These are cross-posted on pregfur and FA.

has mentioned to me numerous times about wanting to see another pregfur contest. If anyone's interested in drawing or donating to our prize pot (or has ideas for prizes besides money ) let me know...

Another idea she had was basically an art exchange similar to furartxchange (lets hope I get this right ). Basically a topic is given and everyone draws according to this theme. Once the deadline rolls around, people vote on the most original/cutest picture, trying to avoid voting on the "best looking" one. The winner from that contact gets to choose the theme/character for the next round, etc etc etc...

More typically seen today is the 1 to 1 idea, where each artist is assigned another artist and I suppose they draw whatever they want another a common theme (pregnancy! :3).

So how does this sound? Would I have some support? Rezzit also suggested I make a LiveJournal community for it. However, before I do so, I'd like to be sure I have a fair amount of people who'd like to contribute. And don't stray away because you're not much of an artist. I may even be joining

Oh, and one final note... Same as with the previous contests, any/all of these ideas would probably limited to PG-13 or perhaps R pictures. Nothing majorly pornographic

A little extra about the contest for those of you who may have not been around for our past ones. I forget exactly how many contests we've held, but basically I take donations for the prize pot. Once a get a decent amount for prizes (usually like $50 for 1st, $25 for 3rd, $10 for 3rd), I open a private forum up to people who donated to discuss a picture topic. Once we decide on a topic, I set a deadline for artists to get their artwork in.

So yeah, just to clarify any confusion; the contest isn't the same as the community

One final addition. It seemed we had pretty decent interest, so I went ahead and made the LJ community. It's mostly there for people to sign up, maybe post about themselves. Once we iron everything out, we'll start the arting process
